no problems with the self diagnosis unit on the car, changed the computers and fuel injectors along with most sensors already. The car now seems to start fine when cold, but sometimes not.

These cars have a pre pump n the tank. If this is not working properly, the main fuel pump can be starved, esp when it is cold as the vapor pressure is low. This can cause surging, hard starting, and stalling.
