Seems to be connected to left-hand turns.....but it sputters and has no power sometimes.Sometimes, it runs like the champ l remember.l tried fuel injection cleaner.I am a single mom with two kids in college, this car has to last for another 3 years!

If you're turning left & it is sputtering out I'd say it is fuel delivery related. My guess is ur fuel pump is bad, or else the feeder line inside the gas tank that goes to the pump is cracked & sucking air when the gas sloshes to the other side. Does filling the tank up all the way alleviate the issue? If so, I'd start with the feeder line. If not, probablt bad fuel pump or maybe a clogged fuel filter.

I'd stick with the Volvo, they're good cars & will last forever even when miles r high.

If problem still exist with fuel level at half or full tank then it might not be related to fuel delivery system.Do you notice if the Check Engine light is on when engine running?If so,the trouble codes must be retrieved from the engine control module and repairs needed to fix what is causing the cel to come on.Take car to an independent Volvo repair shop to interpret the codes.Keep me posted or email me if u have questions.Thanx!
